Earth is only one of a billion galaxies, says part of this video. You are not the center of the universe, in fact you're effectively already dead, so stop caring what people think.
Interestingly, I am such a small part of the universe that I cannot perceive the whole universe. I might already be dead, but from my own limited perspective I have not stopped breathing yet. If I want to eat, I will need to continue to get food. I can't abandon fulfilling basic requirements and living in a society simply because I am very, very tiny.
Most other people's opinions will not affect how I get my basic needs met, but some can.
